The Shops At Riverwoods

Utah’s favorite shopping at the base of the Wasatch Mountains near the entrance to Provo Canyon, is the community gathering place. The Shops at Riverwoods is the crown jewel of the Riverwoods Community, a 120-acre, mixed-use urban village containing several million square feet of employment, 143 residences, retail, restaurants, and entertainment venues. The development is set in a unique riverfront environment that has been designed with community integration in mind, making the Riverwoods shopping village one-of-a-kind.
In today's economic climate, The Shops at Riverwoods recognizes the need to stay relevant and is undertaking giant steps forward to meet that need. The Riverwoods is creating a beautiful pedestrian-oriented center by laying the streets with European style cobblestone areas, trees, fountains and water features and a variety of seating types.
These pedestrian areas will be complete with misters and water features in the Summer and outdoor heating and fire features during the Winter. The cobblestone walkways will provide a place for community gathering events and the creation of a spectacular town square, complete with stage and gazebo, allowing The Shops at Riverwoods to host entertainment of various kinds. All of these features help to enhance our customers shopping experience.
In addition to the changes, new shops have recently joined The Shops at Riverwoods, which include food, leisure activities and retail. An activities center, is also planned to be opened soon, and will feature a Flo-Rider Surfing, bowling, and golf simulators.
The Shops at Riverwoods is set in a peaceful and stylish atmosphere, featuring the area’s most unique local boutiques nestled among renowned national retailers. This inviting, open-air shopping center is a favorite with locals and frequent visitors to the area. Offering a beautiful and convenient location, Riverwoods provides a fun shopping experience for its customers. While enjoying a leisurely shopping experience, visitors can stop by one of the “area’s best” restaurants or pause to enjoy the atmosphere on one of the many relaxing patios.

A view down Main Street illustrates the prominence of the Wasatch Mountain Range and its important to the Provo community. The seasonal changes from snow-capped peaks in the winter to the deep earth tones of fall provide a truly unique setting for this development. The color of the local building stone provides a vivid pedestrian experience and a connection with the beauty of the natural setting. Broad pedestrian areas and walkways are highlighted with imaginative sculptures by James C. Christensen set amongst vibrant flower beds.
Provo is the second most populated city in Utah and the seat of Utah County.
